The influence of education on the future of a society and nation and the adverse impact of lack of proper education are too well-known to require any elaboration. Likewise, the fact that rural areas and urban slums are the most underprivileged in India is too well-known. Dr.Raman foundation has chosen education - with a particular emphasis on rural areas and urban slums - as its primary focus area in its endeavor to empower the underprivileged.
